Time, Memory and Transience
Art Exhibition
19th, 20th and 21st September: midday-6pm
22nd September: midday-5pm
Contemporary art showing
photography, drawing, painting, print, sculptural assemblages, video/film, textile and mixed media.
The exhibition brings together five Surrey-based artists:
Zita Saffrette, Esperanza Perkins, Gill Newton, Zahura Hossain, and Sharon McElroy,
who use their specific media
to individually explore ideas relating to time, memory, identity, distortion, and impermanence.
Their work interleaves skills and experience with histories and narratives, some personal and some gleaned from the rich story of St George's Church itself.
